First

Hey! I have been getting into oil painting lately and I just love it. Plus the cool thing about it is- even though it's considered old school (b/c of digital painting) it  reinforces new techniques that I use all the time digitally. A must try for any devoted artist. This is my first portrait attempt.

    That looks great for a first attempt at painting a portrait in oils - did you do it in monochrome or is that an added digital effect? Nice :)

    Hi JJ & thanks for your comment. This painting is Monochromatic no digital effects. However the more I paint I find that the two have a lot of similarities. In fact it really depends on your style.
